ETTINGTON CHASE
is set in 11 acres of landscaped grounds and takes its name from the village of Ettington, close to the most globally famous of all English towns - Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon.


DORRIDGE VILLAGE HALL
was built in 1975 (on land backing off Grange road and adjacent to Dorridge Park) from Donations, and Grants from Solihull MBC (who retain the freehold for the site).The Hall has excellent facilities and parking, and in recent years has had disabled access installed.Since August 2007 DVHA has been run by a new committee, which has already made some important changes, including redecoration and developing its facilities.The hall is used for regular events and for private functions, and has its own licensed bar and catering facilities.


THE IRISH CENTRE BIRMINGHAM
A Digbeth diamond, the Irish Centre Birmingham has been relaunched following an extensive refurbishment project under the new owners Westbourne Leisure.  Phases one and two are now complete with The Connaught Bar as the most notable addition, a pub that provides for all in a stylish, friendly and vibrant atmosphere.The final phase is now complete, The Back Room being transformed into a venue capable of hosting upto 600 people watching top class bands and artists, as well as being hired for private and corporate functions.
